A Mining Camp in Northern California

Patented land that is nice and flat for camping, at the junction of the Klamath and Scott Rivers. Gold is plentiful in this area and is replenished annually by the spring runoff from the Scott bar Mountains. Barkhouse Creek, McKinney Creek, Horse Creek and Mill Cree tributaries have been producing gold since the mid 1800’s.

Size: 28 Acres (Main Camp) - 8 Acres (Klamath River Property) - 49 Acres (Finley Property)

Season: Apr. 1 - Oct. 31

Amenities: Electric/Water Hook-Up Sites (2), Water Sites (10), Dry Camping, Weekly Dumping Service, Porta Potties, Shower Clubhouse, and Kitchen use.

Mining Equipment Allowed: Highbanker (used as recirculator – no pump in rivers), Drywasher, Rocker Boxes, Sluice, Crevassing, Panning and Metal Detecting.

Member Rate Camping Fees: Electric/Water - $12 - $15/day, Water Only - $4/day, Dry - $3/day, Wifi - $1/day
